Mission Statement: Tracy Art League is a non-profit organization to promote and encourage community interest in the arts and personal development in artists, craftsmen, and art appreciators in the San Joaquin Valley communities.

Community Involvement: Tracy Art League is dedicated to promoting visual arts to the community through involvement in the community through periodic public demonstration and exhibition. Monthly meetings involve demonstrations and workshops for members interested in trying their skill in various mediums. The annual Expressions Art Show, put on by Tracy Art League offers an opportunity for local artists to show their best works in a public forum.

Notice: The Tracy Educators Association has chosen the Tracy Art League as their Special Friend of Education winner and they will be honored at the 53rd Annual Golden Apple Awards Dinner at Hutchins Street Square in Lodi on April 11.

2008 Calendar of Meeting Programs

April 10 Modesto's Judith Cochran demonstrated her expertise with mixed media at the Tracy community Center at 7 pm. See workshop on June 12.

May 13's meeting will feature Jan Rapp of Modesto. He will demonstrate watercolor techniques and discuss his "inventions that will help artists". Don't miss this meeting.

June 12 Thursday Mixed Media Collage Workshop with Judith Cochran at the Tracy Community Center, 10 am to 3:30 pm. Art materials provided. $75 fee, bring a sack lunch. Click here for Judith Cochran workshop flier. Click here for Workshop application form.

Tracy Art League meetings: We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm usually at the Tracy Community Center.
