Mission Statement: Tracy Art League is a non-profit organization to promote and encourage community interest in the arts and personal development in artists, craftsmen, and art appreciators in the San Joaquin Valley communities.

Community Involvement: Tracy Art League is dedicated to promoting visual arts to the community through involvement in the community through periodic public demonstration and exhibition. Monthly meetings involve demonstrations and workshops for members interested in trying their skill in various mediums. The annual Expressions Art Show, put on by Tracy Art League offers an opportunity for local artists to show their best works in a public forum.

Tracy Art League meetings: We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, at the Tracy Community Center, except Sept 9 when we will meet at the Tracy Transit Station.

The May 13 meeting featured the work of MARTIN DIAZ graduating student scholarship winner.  We also showed the completed masks from April's meeting.

The Tracy Art League does not meet during the summer.  
The next meeting will be September 9th at the Tracy Transit Station, 6th Street and Central Ave.  Note the new location for this meeting.

Birth of Expressionism May 22 to Sept 6 2010, De Young Museum, San Francisco.

Haggin Museum 56th Juried art Exhibition, Stockton, Sept 2 to Oct 31, 2010.   Entries by digital images on a CD by July 7, 2010.

Artstock 2010 Sculpture Exhibition.  Sculpture and large format 2-D. Submissions due Sept 1.  Show at the High Hand Gallery and Nursery & Gallery, 3750 Taylor Rd, Loomis, CA.  Information at http://highhandgallery.wordpress.com/artstock/.

TAL member Diane Rodriguez invites you to help her celebrate twenty years of painting trains at the Wente Vineyards Estate Winery Tasting Room, 5565 Tesla Road, Livermore.
You are invited to an artist’s reception Sunday, September 12 from 1PM to 3 PM.
The paintings will be on display and for sale September 1 to September 29, 2010.
